Residential Wiring
Rewires, new circuits, lighting plans, GPO additions. We treat your house like it's ours — drop sheets down, leave it cleaner than we found it.
Learn moreMark and Daniel Watt have been wiring homes, businesses and EV chargers across Sydney's North Shore since their dad first handed Mark a pair of pliers in the Chatswood garage. It's still a family shop. Still answering the phone themselves. Still doing the job the way Dad taught them.
From a flickering kitchen downlight to a full commercial fit-out in Chatswood, we cover it. Same two brothers on the tools every job. Same standard of work every time.
Rewires, new circuits, lighting plans, GPO additions. We treat your house like it's ours — drop sheets down, leave it cleaner than we found it.
Learn moreOld ceramic fuses still in the cupboard? We upgrade to compliant circuit breakers and RCDs, tag everything, and walk you through it before we leave.
Learn moreCEC-accredited installs of solar arrays and home batteries. We spec the system to your bill, not the other way round. Honest numbers, honest payback.
Learn moreTesla, Polestar, BYD, anything else — we install them all. Wall-mounted or pedestal, single or three-phase, with load management built in.
Learn morePre-purchase reports, rental compliance, or a peace-of-mind check for an older home. Thorough written report, photos of everything, priced by the job.
Learn moreCafes, dental clinics, retail. We work to your shopfitter's program, hit the milestones, and keep the strata happy on the way through.
Learn moreWatt Brothers wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born in a single-car garage off the Pacific Highway, with one ute, one apprentice, and a dad who reckoned his eldest had a knack for the trade. Here's how we got here.
Mark Watt founds the business out of his garage in Chatswood, with one ute, a borrowed multimeter, and a phone line that rang through to the kitchen.
Younger brother Daniel finishes his apprenticeship in Artarmon and joins Mark full-time. The first thing they do is buy a second ute and a proper sign.
We expand into commercial fit-outs across the North Shore — cafes on Victoria Avenue, dental rooms in Lindfield, a fashion boutique in Roseville.
We become certified EV charger installers as the North Shore's driveways start filling up with Teslas, Polestars and BYDs. We've put in hundreds since.
Twenty-six years, four sparkies on the team, and still family-owned. Mark's son Sam started his apprenticeship in February. That's three generations now.
We're Mark and Daniel Watt — brothers, sparkies, and the second generation of a family that's been working on the tools in Sydney's North Shore for fifty-plus years. Our old man taught Mark how to strip a cable when he was still in primary school.
That's not a marketing line — it's just how we grew up. Which is why we still answer our own phone, still turn up when we said we would, and still stand behind every job long after the invoice is paid. We know this part of Sydney intimately: Chatswood, Lindfield, Roseville, Killara, Gordon, Pymble, St Ives — we've worked under most of the roofs out here.
If you ring us, you'll get Mark or Daniel. Not a call centre, not a sub-contractor we've never met. That's the deal, and it's worked for twenty-six years.
Most of our work comes from a neighbour walking over the fence and asking for our number. These are some of the people who've sent us on.
Daniel came out the same afternoon to look at our switchboard. Old ceramic fuses, original wiring from the seventies. He had it upgraded the following Tuesday, beautifully labelled, and walked my husband through the whole thing. Pricing was upfront from the quote.
Mark installed our Tesla wall charger and rewired the garage while he was at it. Three-phase, load-managed, all on a clean new sub-board. The car charges overnight without tripping a single breaker. Honest, on time, brilliant work.
We had Watt Brothers do the solar and battery on our place last spring. Mark sized the system to our actual bill rather than upselling us. Six months in, the figures match what he predicted almost to the dollar. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
Daniel came out for what we thought was one pendant light. By the end of the afternoon he'd quietly fixed three other things that had been bugging us for months. Lovely manners, didn't leave so much as a dust mark. Will use them forever.
A small snapshot of the last few months — switchboards, fit-outs, solar arrays and a beautiful Killara dining room.
Anything we haven't covered? Ring Mark or Daniel direct on (02) 9417 5562 — we'd rather have the conversation in person.
We respond to every enquiry within a few hours during the working week. For urgent work, give us a ring — we'd rather talk than type.
